I give this camera a "Sea Minus" overall. Compact, yes. Usable, yes. Get what you pay for, double yes. This cheap camera is good for those that want a choppy, noisy video and such slow focus that you get only a couple good shots out of over 100 taken. It was useless when in turbid water unless an 'impressionistic' image is what you want. I am an experienced photographer and should have spent more to get a better rig. My bad. At least I have great memories.

I used this camera underwater while snorkeling. For the price it's well made, but it was tough to know when it was taking pictures or recording. It was really hard to see if it was working while underwater, so I had to guess and look at the images after to know what it captured. It also only has a usb, which is a bit annoying for getting the photos off since most Mac computers no longer have that, so had to use an adapter to move the photos after the trip. I would probably have buy something with wifi capabilities if I was buying again, or at least with a plug that allows you to get the photos off the camera more easily. The photos are nice, but I feel like I could have gotten even better ones if the recording sign was more obvious while in the ocean water.

My kids have Polaroid underwater camera, which is basic underwater camera with limit functionality but can take pictures and record 4K video underwater. My kids had so much fun at the beach last summer and even at our local swim club, taking pictures and video while swimming without having to worry about ruining the camera so I decided to get this underwater camera as upgrade. This camera is more expensive than Polaroid underwater camera but it has the following advantages over Polaroid underwater camera:1. Dual Screens - while Polaroid has 2.4" screen, this camera has 2.8" screen, which is much brighter and clear but better yet, it also has 1.7" screen in the front so you can see yourself when taking selfie! This is the coolest and best upgrade of all!2. Two batteries - while Polaroid has a built-in rechargeable battery, this camera came with 2 rechargeable batteries that can be changed. I like this design for 2 reasons: 1) I can replace the battery when the current one drains for non-stop actions, and 2) the Polaroid camera will be as good as dead when the built-in rechargeable battery does not charge anymore.3. Resolution - while both cameras offer 4K video recording, this one has 48MP for the picture while Polaroid has only 18MP.4. Digital zoom - this camera has digital zoom up to 16X while Polaroid doesn't provide zoom5. Bells and Whistles - It also provides anti-shake, self-timers, fill light mode, auto-focus, and continuous shooting mode! This underwater camera is better and superior compared to Polaroid underwater camera, and I hope I will be able to buy the batteries separately and they also come out with external battery charger so that drained battery can be charged using portable power station while camera is still being used.

I was on the hunt for a reliable underwater camera that could withstand the elements and capture high-quality images. So I grabbed this Underwater Camera 4K Waterproof Camera on Amazon for upcoming summer trips with my son and I am extremely impressed with it so far. The 4K resolution provides crystal clear images and videos, making it my best option for capturing underwater moments. The waterproof feature will allow me to take this camera up to 11FT underwater without any issues. The dual screens are a convenient feature, making it easy to take selfies and see what I am capturing. The included 64GB card provides plenty of storage space, to capture our summer memories. It is compatible with 128GB SD cards as well if you prefer that over the included 64GB one.I am not a tech savvy person even with things as simple as a digital camera, so I truly appreciate the very simple included instructions that were well written. As well as the images included in instructions to help ensure you have everything set up the way you need to. It also covers formatting the included SD card for those of us who really don't know what we are doing. It also came with a cleaning cloth and storage bag as well.I personally thought it was an awesome find since it included two batteries too. This will ensure that I never have to worry about running out of power while on the go. Especially for camping and hiking adventures this means I can make sure both are charged up and ready to go and capture all the fun moments with the family. Battery life is a win here since you can easily take both on the go with you!Using the functions are very easy too. A half press of the shutter button is all you need to focus. It also has multiple built in timer settings as well or setting up family vacation photos or posing with your besting. In water or out I will be capturing all the memories this summer while keeping my smartphone from being overloaded and running into storage space issues. The battery section is easy to open with the lock/unlock button that keeps it sealed and airtight. Slide it over then slide the entire battery section over. All the buttons are also marked as well so even in underwater situations you should be able to tell what they all do while your still adjusting to it's uses.If you are looking for a high-quality, portable camera that won't break the bank, for vacations, summer trips snorkeling or other underwater photography, this is a good option with everything included.
