I hand-painted these fabulous dolls for a contest. The theme was Wizard of Oz. I made some extras to go along with the set. There was no sanding needed and the wood was smooth and the joints are very tight. The engraved design was just deep enough to see through any applied paint. I used acrylic paint and a clear satin sealer.
