the straps that hold the pleats open, which is the most important part of a filters ability to clean and hold debris.Many other name brand filters straps fail within months even with gentle cleaning making units useless. We found this unit on amazon, made in usa and We hope to have better results with the issue above. Will report back in 3 months or so of cleaning. Fit perfectly , came well packaged and owners contacted via email of satisfaction within weeks
