Although the seller says it will send 7 full cartridge filter element and 1 smaller one, I received 8 of the large size and none of the smaller size. They did issue me a partial refund so I could buy the smaller 8th element. If they would have properly packed the carton as the ad indicated, it would have saved time and trouble. The filter elements did appear to be well constructed and in the end was a reasonable cost.

You will get 8 large grids in this set. You will NOT get the smaller one that would be required for a complete replacement of worn grids, You will need to reuse the small grid from your old set OR find someplace to buy a small replacement. Other than that, it is a set of 8, same size quality grids for Pentair DE pool filters.

Product inadequately advertised, creating problems with installation. Product sold as replacement for Hayward filter. Hayward filter requires 7 filters of 19" width, and one filter of 13" width. Product received was 8 filter grids at 19". Description should have stated that the 8 filters were all 19".

I changed out all my DE filter grids with these new ones last week. After 4 years of the old grids, what a great improvement in filtration with these new grids! They appear similar to the old ones.Of course the eighth grid does not match the special-sized-narrow grid which my filter requires, so I had to find that one elsewhere.

Great price and the product was delivered as advertised. However, the 7th filter unit was too big for my system. My system uses a 7th filter panel that is smaller than the other six. I cut the sewn end of the panel open, slid the cover back, and cut the solid plastic frame to the size I needed. I re-sewed the fabric back together and it worked perfectly. My pool is sparkling.
