I've been trying several different yerba mate for over a year now and this one is not as good as the reviews qere showing to be. It has a very bitter taste. I typically put some sweetner to make the bitter tasting mates taste better, but this one is overpowering. Out of 10 different brands that I've tried, I'd definitely put this one at number 9 or 10 at my list. 10 being the lowest rank for me. If your into the smooth mates I'd say stay away from this and stick to playadito. I will say that it does give a decent ammount of energy at least. I hope this helps!

This Mate couldn't be any more perfect! Has a true Mate taste. NOT artificial or plastic-like. Not overpowering. Not smokey. Clean feel. Like fresh cut grass in the morning. I use my 2 cup (8oz) Bodum French Press. Two 7-gram Bodum scoops. Brew it up to 3 times. The last brew is very very mild but still has a tad of taste just for the hecks. This will be your forever love. A little more stronger than Eco but not too smokey like Guayaki. Just perfect! The polvo is my only problem. A little too much polvo for me. But that's the "matcha" of this Mate which gives you that quick energy. So you either drink it or discard it. I drink if it I'll need extra fuel that day but mostly discard it. Energized with no anxiety. I suffer from panic attacks so this really is good for me. I don'f find myself sweating or dizzy like I feel after a cup of coffee. I feel present and well. I kind of want to feel some jitters to know where to stop but I can't with this! I'm numbed with relaxation yet still awake. This is great stuff! This bag lasted me a little over a month in a half so it's a good price compared to a bag of coffee, k-cups or tea bags.
