I've been needing to add a mini ball head to my nice new tripod. I have plenty of clamp attachments, but there are many photographic situations that call for one of these. Very easy to install, easy to adjust. The measures are spot on and you can tighten/loosen easily.The top disc insulator isn't as nice as I'd like, but it does the job and stops the scratches. Ultimately, I needed this and it was a good buy that works. I'm content.

Overall great and sturdy build quality. The head spins softly but firmly and holds my device securely. I knocked down two stars for the false advertising, but I'm otherwise very pleased with the unit I got.
