About this item

  • The clutch of the compressor has 2 grooves. If you received different as we listed, pls contact us.
  • Including Compressor Body and Magnetic Clutch(Hub, Pulley, Coil)
  • The compressor contains 180 ml pag oil 68 inside already. If there is other pag oil left in your cooling system, we advise you drain the oil that comes with the compressor and still use the same oil as before, or clean the cooling system before installing the compressor, in order to ensure the normal use of the compressor.
  • The size of suction port: 7/8 inch --14 UNF; The size of exhaust port: 3/4 inch --16 UNF
  • If you make an order by mistake and want to return it back, pls ensure that the package is as good as you received(at least the LABLE IS INTACT).

Poor heat dissipation or excessive refrigerant results in high pressure, which may cause the pressure valve breakage or deformation.

Leakage

The pipe assembly is installed loosely or the rubber is aging, which may cause leakage.

Oil Starvation

When the system is not properly lubricated, compressor part burns out.

  • 1. Cabin temperatures higher than normal

    2. Loud noises when the compressor is running

    3. Compressor clutch is not moving

  • 1. Check the amount of the pag oil and refrigerant.

    2. Make sure the surface of the condenser is clean.

    3. Check if you have vacuumed enough time.(at least twice, 15 minutes each time)

    4. Make sure that the compressor is installed correctly.

  • 1. If the AC switch isn't connected, it may be the pulley is deformed and rubbed against the suction cup or coil.

    2. If the system has been used for a long time, the oil return cycle function is not good, which may cause the compressor can't rotate.

  • 3. If the compressor has too much oil, it may cause too high load pressure in the system, so that the compressor can not move, and the clutch slips, which will make a harsh noise.

    4. The compressor mounting bracket is not fixed properly.

Ac blew very cold for about 20 minutes until the compressor seized solid, do not buy. Now since I don’t have a refrigerant reclaim system I’m going to have to empty $100 worth of refrigerant out of the system while taking the compressor off to send back for a refund. Company has not reached out and I can’t get ahold of them to try and make this right. I just hope I can get my money back.

This little compressor works great in my 1963 Mercury Comet. Combined with an Alan Grove bracket this little compressor puts out a punch of cold air....

Replaced York compressor with this. I was price driven and did have to buy an adapter for the universal bracket already on the truck. Everything lined up and fit well as length was an issue. Price for compressor and condenser were less than many single compressors. Hopefully works well once the system is charged.
