I have been using this type of lock for a very long time to prevent one specific individual from using my car.However, she keeps stealing the keys forcing me to replace the lock.(4 or5 times.) I have it on a 1997 TOYOTA corolla .the car thieves in this city love my old Toyotas. I will just have to do a better job of hiding the keys from the internal car thief.

I like this item but it's not the best for sure. Car can still be stolen but driving it would be hard.

Cheap rubber melted to my dashboard, when I unlocked it and removed , it took a piece of my dash which was perfect, now I have a hole. I’m pissed horrible design or rubber. I’m going to have to use it with a piece of felt. They should have a Huge warning and it would have never happened. Thanks Chinese engineers

I bought this to help keep my UTV safe. As with most UTVs, there is no lock mechanism on the steering wheel. Occasionally, I park it where i need it to be safe from someone pulling it onto a trailer and taking off. So, I move the wheel completely clockwise and used this lock to keep the steering wheel from moving. That effectively prevents someone from stealing it by winching it onto a trailer. Motivated thieves, of course, can find other ways, but this works well for me.
