How to use and install
1, Place all the parts as shown, there are five parts ;
2, please put part part 234 together
3, please put the part 1 on it
4, please lock any three of the screws, please note that not to lock to the end
5, open one side of the kit as shown;
6, place the kit on the round knob of the microphone
7, lock the last screw(Do not tighten all screws until this step)
8, Peel off the 3M release film and place the strong magnet inside the package where you need it, then attach the microphone to it

This is cheap with screws that strip into the plastic before it's tight. This will also not work with two-way radios that require the mic to be grounded for the scan/priority function such as Motorola.

Really works well as a mic hanger when operating mobile. No need to take your eyes off the road. Clamps onto your hand mic *button" without any permanent modifications. Just being the mic near the companion magnet and it instantly snaps into place.

Delivered today and put on my yaesu ftm-500. Had to drill out the mic clip part just a tiny bit to get it to fit securely but an extra 5 minutes was not a waste compared to the reward.Easy install.Very strong magnets.Great for no drill mounting.Will be ordering more for ALL of my radios. Including my ambulances at work.

I recently replaced I trim piece in my offroader and needed to find a new way to remount my hand mic… $99 for a vehicle specific mount of the $15 for this? Decided I couldn’t go wrong with the price and have it a shot. Absolutely lot of string the magnet is and love I got to choose where I wanted it mounted. Would definitely recommend.

This does not fit Yeasu microphones. I had to take a knife and modify it to fit. Figured this was easier than taking it back to Amazon. The hole is too small to fit on a Yeasu microphone clip pin

After reading some of the reviews, I was worried but when it got here, I tested it out and it held very well. It works so well that I have not installed the backing magnet, just stick it to a steel mounting that holds the radio and other accessories. Luckily instructions were not necessary because they were impossible to follow.

My CB is tucked up tight to the overhead console and I had no room to mount the clip for the mic. I don’t really like the retractable things as I don’t talk on the radio often at least until I learn Spanish so this fit perfectly. It’s a little tricky to attach the part to the mic with tiny screws but once it’s on it’s secure. The magnet is strong and the mic stays put bouncing around Los Angeles pothole filled roads.
