Quick Start Instruction:
1. Clean the inner wall of the intake opening while the Air Filter, and the Throttle connections are removed, so as not to scratch the adapter.
2. Close the Pressure Relief Valve(A) next to the Hand Pump(B).
3. Put the Rubber Component(C) into the intake opening.
4. Inflate the Rubeber Component(C) by pressing the Hand Punm(B) till the intake opening is tightli sealed.
5. Now the system is ready to test,introduce air/smoke into the system by plug the smoke nozzle into the Tube Opening(D).
6. After test,pull off the smoke nozzle,release the inflated air by open the Pressure Relief Valve(A) next to the Hand Pump(B).
7. Clean the adapter for storage,avoid contact with corrosive liquids.

Good that they include an extra part, this works pretty good, about standard for the part. It seems like this is the same as they include in smoke kits.

I own an older Jeep Wrangler. Anyone that's owned one knows you either learn to turn wrenches or you go broke. One of the most common issues with the 4.0 is a vacuum leak. These engines just fall apart if you have a leak. The best way to track these leaks down is with a smoke machine. It's been one of the biggest aids to my success in Jeep repairs. It works great as is, but if you're ever wanting to test your evap system you have to be careful about too high of air pressure. You can damage things. One of the ways you can use your smoke machine with the evap is a hand pump.This one works great! The pump pulls smoke into the bulb which you can then pump into the evap. With this setup you have very fine control over how quickly you push in air which makes it easy to not push too much.Overall this is a great investment if you already have a smoke machine. Now there's no guesswork about how much pressure you're putting into the evap system. I love accessories that improve the performance of a tool and this is a great example.

Does not have gauges like the other units but did the job the same.It does have a pressure regulator to adjust down to 1 or 2 psi.

This air bladder seems pretty intuitive to use. Make sure to have clean surfaces with no burrs, etc., where you plan to inflate. The fact that they included a spare bladder shows that this is, at least somewhat, a consumable tool. It does meant that splitting one open in the middle of the job will only cost a few minutes to change it out, instead of leaving you high and dry. At this price point (about sixteen bucks at the time of this review, including coupon), it would not be a big deal to have to replace these every few years.

This is an inflatable test plug - the deflated diameter is between 41-42mm diameter - less than 1 3/4"The hand pump expands the bladder to fill and block a pipe or port. The core is an aluminum base and stem that runs the full length of the bladder and provides the port though the plug.The port at the end go the plug tube is 3mm diameter - so it's not a large port but enough for smoke testing or a pressure monitor.The hand pump works well, there aren't any leaks with the bladder and it holds tight in a tube.The package includes an additional sleeve - I believe that its a spare/replacement bladder for the plug but there's no information. They did not include additional band clamps (two required) to install the replacement but you might be able to reuse the existing ones with a little care if you damage the bladder. It does seem to be fairly tough.If you want to use this as a complete air tight plug, you will need to cap or plug the injection port.Overall, this is an inexpensive accessory that's well made and does it job - maybe not a common tool but very handy for testing tubes/pipes/ports with smoke or pressure.
