I ordered this griddle for my Weber Genesis E330 grill and it fits beautifully. The heading says it is made of cast iron which is incorrect. It is made of 1/8" steel plate metal and the weld spots underneath is a dead give away. The steel griddle has a non-stick coating to it but I would be careful in using metal utensils on it for they might scratch the coating and cause rust to develop over time when washed. I would recommend using high heat non-metallic utensils to cook with. It is well constructed and will give me many uses in the way of cooking bacon, fried eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches etc., etc.. At the bottom of the griddle is a grease trap with approximate measurements of 1¼" H x 22¾" W x ⅝" D. There’s no way to drain the grease out of the trap other than to tilt it at an angle while it is still hot enough for the grease to stay liquified. What may be problematic for some is that there is no slant to the griddle to force any grease or other liquids to travel down to the grease trap. You will have to use a scraping device to scrape the grease or liquid down to the trap. I would give this a 3.5 star rating due to the inconvenience of not having a drain plug for the grease trap and not having the griddle at a slight angle for the grease to run down to the trap so I am rating this with a 4 star.

I can't express enough how awesome it is to be able to feed 5 people, quicly on one surface. Once warmed up, I throw on bacon/sausage, pancakes and scrabbled eggs. You'll have to find your hotspots and cook acordingly. It'll differ from grill to grill. Whatever I throw on this, the plate stays a constant temp and nothing sticks for long. A wet cloth on the hot surface and a bit of white vinigar cleans it perfectly every time.

I've wanted the option of having a griddle when grilling so I'm very glad when I saw this Universal Griddle for Gas Grill from Arribueno. I got the 23" x 16" size and this thing is a monster....not just by its size, but by its weight as it is heavy. It's made exceptionally well and the non-stick coating all over is fantastic. Bonus that there is a grease trap right in the front of the griddle. I really like how there is a back to the griddle so I don't have to worry about meat or vegetables falling off the backside. This will definitely get some use and know I'll be using it for several things when the weather becomes warmer and grilling (or "griddling") season begins.

Heavy Duty!! This thing is heavy, not just in weight, but heavy “duty”In quality! Wow!! The griddle has a coating on it making it slippery and smooth to the touch, while protecting it from scratches and makes cooking on it a breeze! Adding this onto a charcoal grill works fantastic, just make sure u measure your grill first so u have enough space. The grease guard area is super convenient and very helpful to prevent mess and flame flare ups when cooking on a grill. This thing weighs a lot, it is heavy, which also says it should hold up to years of use on a grill top. A incredible investment for grill enthusiasts who want to cook different types of meals on the grill.

This high quality accessory easily transforms a classic gas grill into a flat top griddle. It was larger than I thought, yet still a perfect fit that covered almost the entire surface. It's a strong and sturdy coated steel with a heavy weight and smooth surface. This griddle makes grilling much easier as it provides an even and thorough cooking experience. It can be used numerous items, such as meat, eggs, pancakes or vegetables. Cleaning is a breeze as it can be wiped or simply removed for a thorough washing. The included drip tray easily catches the grease and provides for a healthier meal. This is much simpler than scrubbing the individual bars of a grill and having all the excess fall to the bottom. This is definitely an excellent product that will be used for most of our grilling experiences.

This insert is a great way to try out griddle grilling before you go and purchase a Blackstone. My grill still has life left in it, but I wanted to see what the Blackstone craze was all about without purchasing one.It has a ceramic coating which makes it non-stick without having to use oil or any type of seasoning, though a little oil never hurts.I have only tried making bacon and eggs on it, but was impressed at how quickly they cooked up. I'm looking forward to trying steaks and burgers next! The trick is to ensure you get the surface nice and hot before throwing the food on, as this is relies on the temp of the griddle more so than the temp inside the grill.Clean up is easy, as the grease can be directed into the trough at the front and cleaned out after it cools and hardens. The handles make it easy to place and remove from inside the grill and transport to the sink to be cleaned. The item is sturdy, heavy and well made.I'm using this on my Broil King Baron 440 and it fits perfectly and takes up about 95% of my cook space, so not losing much.Biggest downside to using this over a true griddle is it is not as easy to control the heat. The whole thing heats up pretty evenly, rather than having different zones like a Blackstone, even if you are only using the burners on one side of your grill. It's not impossible, but it does take a little more effort to time when you use the burners of the grill so that you can have one side a bit cooler than the other. It is a small price to pay for a low cost way to convert your grill into a griddle. Love this item!
