A brake caliper compressor is often essential when working on disc brakes. This tool is used to press the brake piston back into the caliper when changing brakes or working on the master cylinder. Typically, the piston is pushed out or stuck, and it can be challenging to press back in manually. This tool allows you to do this on any vehicle.Overall, the kit is comprehensive and includes enough adaptors for various applications. The metal seems durable enough for occasional use. The case leaves a bit to be desired, as the pieces in mine didn’t really want to stay in the notched retainers when I closed it. For occasional DIY use, this is acceptable, but if you are using this every day, it will become annoying having to constantly have them fall out of place. The threaded press tool worked and moved easily, and everything stayed together.

The tool is of high quality and turned out to be absolutely indispensable when winding back rear calipers of Pontiac Solstice. This simple operation couldn't be done with needle nose pliers. "M" adapter is the right adapter for that car
