This worked perfect to covert my old Yamaha Raider 1100 to a 701. The 1100 exhaust is 3.25" and the 701 is 2". So I used this in between the waterbox and the exhaust stinger. The clamps made a good seal and it worked perfect. The reason for the conversion was the 1100 engine was trashed and I had a fresh 701 on the bench.

it's well built at least it looks it no problem in quality also definitely stainless steel order the wrong type but will go on a another project 10/10 not the worst option out there

So I bought this for duct reduction, not car exhaust. It fit fine on 2" and 3" duct. Its fairly thick metal, thicker than I thought for the price.
