Product Reviewed: Universal Motorcycle Bag, Black Motorcycle Handlebar Bag for $30 minus 5% coupon.TL;DR; sturdy bag; velcro wrap and snap clip mounting; fits mountain bike; a few nice extras USB and seat coverI was looking to add a bit of carrying capacity to my old mountain bike. Although this says motorcycle bag I took a close look at dimensions and it fits on peddle only my mountain bike just fine. I moved my speedo and phone mount to the extreme ends and found the back fit nicely on inside with just the two velcro/snap straps supplied.There are lots of attachment gizmos to mounting should be possible in a variety of ways depending on your imagination. It came with a few extras like an elastic seat cover and the USB wire which just allows you to route a charger or whatever from the inside to the outside conveniently. I think I’d have preferred my own cable and just a port but still this might be convenient for some. I did not test for water resistance but the zipper for example is a well covered design just the same.I’d say this back fully met expectations in terms of execution. I’m not sure it’s a great value. OTOH of the ones available this was the least expensive and it works fine for my purposes.I don’t take points of for value only execution and any kind of misleading or inaccurate info in the listing. I feel like this should be $15 item but then I’m a cheapskate. 5 Stars. As good and option as I’ve seen .How I review:Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points.- 0 for value but I try to provide guidance-0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel-0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on executionI select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range.If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings.

This bag is designed for use on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, e-bikes, and similar vehicles. I tested mine on a mountain bike. The bag is well constructed and handy. Seams and stitching are accurate, and the material is of medium weight. The zippers are functional and water resistant. There is also a separate rain cover that functions more or less like a shower cap in case you need additional storm protection. The front and back of the bag are also lightly padded to help protect the contents, which I think is a nice feature. The bag secures to the vehicle via two hook and loop bands, and these bands are further secured by secondary buckles. This makes for a failsafe system that should not fall off even if the hook and loop fasteners loosen. It also provides for attachment on different points including frames, luggage racks, or handle bars. Internally most of the space is taken up by one main storage area. There is also a thin fabric divider running along the back wall, and a zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the flap. A functional arrangement, but I would prefer to have more differentiation in this regard. One surprising feature is a USB type A charging cable which is permanently attached to one end of the bag, and which extends into the bag as a two foot extension cord. I really did not have a need for or way to test this feature, and since it is not removable I found it to be somewhat in the way. All in all, this is a useful and dependable bag that adds some badly needed storage to my mountain bike. Glad to have it.

Convenient way to stow sunglasses, gum, billfold and gloves within easy reach while riding or stopping to get gas. Easy to attach but hard enough to detach to defer a thief!
