Doesn't work right, doesn't go into program mode, no instructions. But green is ground, black is power, blue/white is fuel signal, and other wire is tack. Your welcome!

It came with no instructions on setup nor on hooking up the wires. Wire colors were also wrong compared to what I seen in the picture and according to the reviews I read. We have 4 wires-2- blue/white1- black/white1- solid blackI cant find anything online to help us figure it out. I contacted manufacturer and all they sent me was some sort of setup instructions that made completely no sense at all to me. Way to much trouble for what it's worth. We will be sending it back and getting a different one.

So far, everything on this gauge seems to work great, but time will tell about the durability. It seems reasonably well built though. The only reason I docked a point is because there are no included instructions, and setup isn't self explanatory. You have to hold in the button while you turn your ignition/key on to get into the menu system. It will say P0000, which you need to change to P6610 - using short button presses to set the numeric values, and long presses to change which digit you're on - as some sort of password to get into the settings. The first setting is the front wheel RPMs at 60km/h - for a 120/90 R17 tire this should be about 530. The next setting is km/h or mph - 1001 is km/h, 1002 is mph. Then number of cylinders - 2002 for 2, 2004 for 4 (I think this may be per ignition coil, as my bike has 4 cylinders but 2 ignition coils, and "2002" gives a more accurate reading for me). Then there's a setting for fuel gauges that I don't quite understand, but I left it as is and it seems to work so far.I was able to use the stock speedo cable, and tap the wires into the existing connections from the original dash. So far, this seems like a great addition to my Katana street fighter build. Only thing I wish it had was a neutral indicator light, and maybe a turn signal indicator light.

Over all it was nice and easy to set up thanks to some other reviews. After 1 week of use on a 1980 Suzuki gs1000 it has failed. It will run and turn on but half way through a 10Minute trip it freezes and won’t reset until the bike is off for about 5 minutes. I will have to find another better option.

Never figured out how to configure it. Lots of features and settings but it did not come with instruction on how to set it up or configure it. I could not find anything online in english on how to wire it or configure it either. Until I find instructions its useless to me. Seems like a quality part and I'm sure once I figure out how to wire it and how to configure it correctly, then it will be a good part.

Great product for the money. The instructions could be better.

Like the design very much. No wiring instructions but fairly simple to figure out. Havnt determined if it needs a constant power supply for settings. Would've been 5 stars if the settings didnt randomly go back to default. Trip saves but all other settings just randomly set to default.
