Item works great with my pioneer surround sound satellite speakers. Only drawback was the hardware supplied to mount them to the wall, either they were garbage or I just didn’t grasp the concept. No directions came with the product so did the best I could. In the end I went to Lowes and picked up drywall anchors and different screws which worked just right.

We didn't use this for our ceiling, but for underneath or mantle above the fireplace as that's where we have our soundbar mounted. Works great, was easy to install, and it doesn't look or feel cheap at all!

Not sure why it says they are frequently returned. I found these very sturdy. Support my 6lb speakers with no issues. Love the bracket to attach to the back of the speaker to make for easy mount/dismount. Very pleased with them.
