Once I was able to get my handel apart to fit it over the grip and got it installed which wasn’t too terrible I was ready to test it and tink something broke and flew off. The rod that clamps the band around the grip flew off never to be found. I was able to rig up a replacement but then as I’m testing my replacement part that I had to make myself the screw that holds the thumb lever backs out the screw every few times you press it so I guess I’ll JB WELD the screw in because going through the hassle of replacing a product sucks!! Way to go

Easy to install. It holds the throttle as it should, and allows the throttle to return when released. Came with a spacer if needed(I didn't) three different sized ru ber grommets for the throttle, and spacers(0mif needed) for the handle bar connection.

It moves around a bit to much and seems to me the inner rubber isn't grippy enough. It loosens up a bit and it's not working great. I'm sure more adjustments will help it, but it's a lot of work to set it well.

Worth the money I spent! I took my time and put this on my bike. Because it is a universal throttle lock, you do have to make it fit your bike. I ended up sawing 1/3 of the spacer to install it and it fits perfectly. I used it last night on a quick 50 mile ride and t worked great! I had one of these on my last bike and it helped out a lot with being able to stretch your hands out on a long ride and getting rid of some of the numbness from gripping too tight. Definitely would buy again or for a friend.

For the price this is a really good product, with just a few minor improvements, it could be a GREAT ONE !!! First it needs to be made out of billet aluminum, second it needs more throttle adapter sizes, and third, it needs a clamp on the center extension, I used a 1/4" hose clamp over a piece of vinyl tape to stiffen it up. I would be willing to pay $10 or $15 more for these improvements. I really wish the manufacturer would get in touch with me, I believe I could help them greatly !! Works OK though, not junk like a lot of these throttle locks, just could be made BETTER.

The installation required a little work but nothing that bad. My only complaint is that the directions were printed in a font that was way too small.Looking forward to many miles.Update... Just ordered a second one for a friend who had to have one after our first ride.

I tried it but it was temperamental to install and quite fragile , the bikes vibration would cause it to back off while riding causing you to lose speed .

Very easy to install, seems to be VG quality. Easy to use with the flick of the thumb, easy to adjust if it slips from vibration.

First of all, this is a very efficient throttle lock for the money. I've had throttle locks in the past (waaayyy in the past, mid 80's) and this is definitely a better mechanism. The instructions are... well... not really helpful. Lots of pictures showing you the parts, but this ain't your paint by numbers kit! It's a pretty straightforward process. On my Himalayan, I had to move the mirror/brake reservoir assembly a bit to create space for the support bracket. 7/8" handlebar spacers work just fine.Construction: Built well and it should last. The moveable parts are going to be hard to wear out.Function: I've got the three Allen screws in tight to put the collar on the handlebar grip, and I've got the spring tension set so I get the throttle to snap back to "zero throttle" once I thumb the lock to "off". When locked, there is a little throttle creep that will reduce rpm's before it settles to "locked". I may tweak the spring tension a little more and see if I can get it to hold immediately, and release just as quickly.Price: Hard to beat for what you get.Instructions: It's more of a general guide, but it's not hard to figure out once you've read it. Just make sure you put the thumb lock screw through the "eye" of the screw the spring goes through (my "aha!" moment). If you ever ride constantly between gas stops, your right wrist will appreciate this throttle lock.
