The only thing I disliked was the smell inside the packaging. Otherwise, these are probably the best rubber bands I’ve ever come across, for as thin as they are. You can stretch them until you can’t, and it’s still durable. There’s plenty in just one pack, so definitely worth the price!

I was thrilled when these arrived. I had no emergent needs. An advantage. As you can see, my dog was fine with the smell. The way the bands stretched was fantastic. They were very pliable when I needed to secure my frozen dessert bar. I think you’ll find the snap-back is by turns curt, edgy, and dead sexy.

Works great for securing re-wrapped deli products for refrigeration and a million different applications.

[EDIT ADDED 8/19/16:] re: THESE TOO THIN, BUT OTHER UNIVERSAL STILL GREAT.I just wanted to add that after using some of these size 16 bands, as well as three other sizes (same brand) of rubber bands I bought at the same time, I've found that the thinness of only this size (the only one that's the minimum thickness of "1/16" wide," as it's refered to) is too thin for many uses. It's just not thick enough to make it strong enough to hold things that produce a lot of tension (things trying to open, thus pressuring against the band) and/or that are heavy objects even without much tension. The band won't produce a tight hold unless you're using it to hold a lightweight object together that isn't applying pressure to the band. The problem is NOT the brand because, as noted, my size 33 (1/8" wide, 3.5" long, ASIN # B0017D7L9C), 64 (1/4" wide, also 3.5" long, ASIN # B0007893VM), and 117 bands (see below) by Universal are great. I'm ONLY reducing from 5 to 4 stars because of thinness of this SIZE, which does greatly limit this particular product's usefulness a whole lot. * But this BRAND still gets a full FIVE (5) STARS (although adding more complete size info on packages would improve their products' usefulness). With size 117, which has 7" length, it comes in both 1/16" width (size 117-A) and 1/8" wide (size 117-B). So if you're looking for long rubber bands, definitely avoid 117-A of ANY brand, imo. Especially with this very long rubber band, such a thin width makes it pretty useless. Unfortunately, most packaging, with most brands, doesn't say whether it's 117-A or 117-B. Even my Universal 117 1-pound bag only says "117" on it, but the item description from the vendor clarifies that it's the thicker type at 1/8" (see ASIN #: B00078946Q here on Amazon for 1-lb. bag).IF YOU WANT THE LENGTH OF SIZE 16 (which is 2.5"), BUT WANT A STRONGER BAND (highly recommended), I SUGGEST GETTING A SIZE AT LEAST 1/8" THICK.For example, SIZE 31 is the same length as size 16 (the product reviewed here) at 2.5", but is twice as thick (1/8"). If you want an even thicker one the same length as size 16, then get size 62, which is 1/4" wide and still 2.5" long.Size 32 seems easier to find than the 2.5" size 31, and is only 1/2" longer at 3", and it's 1/8" thick, so I linked a size 32 bag by Universal to this review..Bottom line: 1/16" is too thin for the great majority of purposes, and obviously, the thicker the band is, the stronger it is and it's more likely to hold stuff securely like you want as well as last a lot longer.[END OF EDIT][FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW]This is a big ol' bag o' rubber bands, and there's not a lot I can think of to say about them. They work perfectly fine in my experience, without a bunch of scrap rubber (partial bands or scraps) in the bags.If you need a lot of rubber bands (such as if you use them in a business setting), these are great. If you are looking for some rubber bands for light home use, you might look at a smaller bag (I'm reviewing a 1 pound bag, which holds a lot of bands). Either way, I find these to be good quality rubber bands exactly as advertised.

Universal 00416 16-Size Rubber Bands (475 per Pack)My fiancée and I are getting married in a couple of month so are starting everything ready!! One of the biggest things that we have not finished are our wedding party favors. We are doing some pepper mint hot chocolate mix in mason jars and we have some small labels. To not take too much attention from out jars we waned an easy way to attach the tags to our jars so we decided to use rubber bands! These rubber bands are amazing!!! You get a nice large pack of about 475 rubber bands and they are the perfect size!!!!!!!!!! They are nice strong and NOT dried out!! I bought some in a store and they were a lot more expensive and really dried out and cracking!!If my review was helpful hit the YES button. If you have a question, leave a comment and I'll answer you! Feedback helps me improve my review! Thank you!!!
