Seems well constructed and good basic design. My work table is small ( ~ 2'x4') and the vise is right sized for this small space. Very handy. Reasonable price and fast delivery.

nice vice that does the job. my main goal was not to have to drill bolts into my workbench unless absolutely necessary. The clamp works well enough but cannot hold the vice in place for all jobs.

This small 4-1/2" vice is pretty nice for smaller, "light duty" work in your garage. The portable clamp is handy but it will not hold in place well if you are doing something like hacksawing through a piece of pipe or something along that line. For that you will need more stability by bolting it to your bench. I think the swivel "tightening" bar that locks the vice in place could have been made with with a little heavier lever as mine has alreay begun to bend a little tightening the vice in place. For the most part I am satisfied with it and I think it will be fine for doing what needs to be done in a small home shop.

I was expecting this vise to be lighter weight BUT No! This is a heavy weight, well built vise that offers both Clamp and bolt on mounting, PERFECT!

I am so impressed with the quality of this vise. It is sturdy and well made. It can be attached to your bench or it can be clamped to the table. The vise itself is separate from the clamp. The clamp is attached to the table and the vise is attached to the clamp with 4 short screws. Very cleaver. Its weight is impressive.

This bench vice is a sturdy, practical and versatile tool. The bench vice feels sturdy and has a satisfying amount of thickness and weight to it. Setting it up is easy. It mounts securely to my workbench without any issues. The 4.5-inch jaws provide ample gripping space, and the added bonus of a built-in pipe jaw is invaluable for my plumbing projects.The swivel base is a game-changer for me, offering 270-degree rotation that allows me to work from multiple angles without having to reposition my workpiece constantly. The anvil is remarkably robust and perfectly complements my metalworking tasks.I've used it for woodworking, cutting, drilling, and even some light metalwork, and it's held up exceptionally well. The heavy-duty construction is great, showing no signs of wear and tear, and it's sturdy enough to handle all sorts of abuse.
