I had to replace the spacer on my F225. With the spacer costing as much as a new kit, I purchased the new kit and installed it on my 2010 Yamaha F225. Easy to install and all the parts fit perfectly.

Lost my forward thrust washer when I replaced my lower unit. I searched around locally for aftermarket parts, and came up short. OEM for this kit will run nearly a hundreds. Sure, it’s not stainless, but for $35, it works, and it will be at your door in two days. It works as expected. I’m ordering a set as a back up.

If you are out boating and damage a prop or spin a hub, you will need to change out the prop. Drop any of these small parts in the process without a spare and you are stranded! All you can do then is call for assistance.The baggie this kit comes in is a bit flimsy so, I put all the parts in one of those kitchen vacuum seal bags. Then pump it out and heat seal.Throw it in the tool box and you are set!
