First time seeing one was when I had to figure out how to install an island tub. Use your gut and trust the connection not to leak. I put it into a slab. I cemented around the black adapter. I had to trim the brass adapter because it was too long. Use the supplied silicone to grease the brass pipe and just slide the brass adapter into the hole. As easy as it can be!

Product was as advertised. It fit into our reno bath installation perfectly and allowed the tub to be installed without issues. For the reno contractor or DYI'er this product does a nice job. I'd recommend this product.

A little bit more expensive than flexible trap connectors but so much better. They make fitting and removing and refitting, if necessary so much easier giving a longer lasting seal.
