Keeps my mom from messing up her thermostat. Could have better installation screws. Took a bit of work and some replacement screws to get the installation done and firm.

I bought this to prevent my husband from changing the temperature on our home thermostat 2647402637 times a day like he’s done for the last 5 years we’ve been together. LBVS. I installed it completely on my own while he was out of the house, hid the keys, and waited for him to return home so I could witness his reaction.😂😂 It took him about 30 minutes before he approached the thermostat and said, “wtf is this!?”.🤣 The kids and I laughed hysterically. The temperature is now regulated at a set temperature. I love its clear appearance, easy install, and quality (and that my electric bill has since decreased). Definitely happy with my purchase!

We bought this to keep our mischievous 5 year old son from turning off the heater. Sadly, it only took him one day to figure out he could stick a butter knife through the slats and turn off the heat 🙃Regardless, if you're here to toddler-proof I still recommend it. It keeps him from casually turning off the heat. He would have to grab a butter knife and a chair to climb up onto and that's more noticable than him casually jumping up and pressing buttons.Now we only freeze to death one night per week instead of 6 🙃😂

The product is well made and solid. It was installed vertically to match the thermostat that it was covering. However, this creates difficulty in dealing with the combo which now is on the bottom and not the side. I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller, hence the four-star rating. The price was right.

This is perfect. I have a teenager in the home that will NOT stop messing with our thermostat after telling him not to several times! He turns on the AC during the winter! OMG. This solves the issue. It did not come with instructions, so at first I was not certain how to change the password from 000 to my own, but then I figured it out. It was extremely seamless and easy to install. A must buy for sure!
