Works great just would definitely make sure you also buy the goolrc program card cause without that I could get it to go forward at 100% power it was only at 50% power

I bought this for a little 1-14 scale project, the motor worked great but the esc didn't work, couldn't even program it with a program card

The motor works great with the other ESC I got because this one is terrible. No matter 2s or 3s the stuttering at the beginning is massive! Sure it gets up there quickly once it finally catches but after hours testing combinations of settings on the programming card I was able to change stuff and make the stutter better slightly but not get rid of it. It ruins the experience.

I purchased this to upgrade a wltoys 12428.This Cool RC set is a brushless set just a FYI.I knew that when I got it.The shaft for the motor is the same size as the stock.This was a upgrade that i wanted to do and go brushless and have a more standard setup so i dont have to wait 4-8 weeks for parts from over seas.The motor bolts up to the stock holes on the mount. The shaft is the same size so i just swapped the gear over.I looked all over the listing completely before and after i got the set.I feel I was completely ripped off and completely mislead.No where does it say the start off / punch will only be 25% MAX so you pull the trigger and it does what is called coggin.This mainly happens on grass it can take 4-15 secs before it decides to take off. On hard surfaces it has 1 to 5 sec delay.The esc is crap it's not defective it is built that way.I did get a programing card and tried to adjust it and then max it out in the end. As again on grass it is crap on take off when coggin.On hard surfaces it will do wheelies many times after the hugh delay.Everything in this car is upgraded, the servo, motor, esc and the receiver and transmitter.I knew that i would be doing a lot of modding on the car and I did.The on / off switch was moved to the side of the body from the bottom, the lights were modified as well. I had to change the plugs and solder them together and then heat shrink.These cars came with a combo esc / receiver.I had to get very creative to put the motor, esc, receiver in the same spot as 2 parts, re-wire etc.I don't know about replacement/ refund cuz i had to splice wires for the esc, and switch.That part is no big deal, i have been doing board level repairs, dc jacks, etc along with being in IT from server's, laptops, desktops, plotters etc for 30 years and almost all is self taught along with school / college.The car as a whole functions and runs.The motor has a good amount of torque and is smooth.I was hesitant on using Cool RC instead of hobbywing like my gut told me.I purchased the servo, esc / motor etc, controller and receiver and programming card on separate orders but all new and all from AZ.I am almost 60 and i started when I was 20ishI have this rc and a Traxxas slash 4x4 also. My kids have easily 8 more cars so we have been doing it for many years.I am not happy at all.

This motor/ESC combo worked amazingly for about 2 days, then the ESC caught on fire while sitting still immediately after I turned it on. Both the motor and ESC were cold at the time... Motor still works great, ESC is garbage

This thing fly's in my sons truck. If you are not careful it will just flip the whole thing backwards on its lid. This motor screams!

It's ok if you want a mild brushless system because you wanna try brushless. It's a bit clanky and delayed when it starts moving but once it gets rolling it is a noticeable difference from brushed . It gets hot fast I wouldn't rely on the kv rating stamped on the can. . If you wanna try brushless on a budget go for it. If you want top shelf quality go with castle creations. Oh I ended up using my hobby wing esc with the motor and that helped a lot

Great product no complaints and I run it in 2 of my Wltoys 12428 and the 12423 both run on 3s 75c lipo with 17 tooth pinion and it has tons of torque and power. Don’t forget to order the programming card for the esc
