The bulbs have a little longer neck than original bulbs, which I like.

10/12/24-the company reached out to me directly after seeing this review. They offered to replace the lights at no charge. I did notice the new ones look to be an updated version. I appreciated they unsolicited message . so here's to these being long lasting. I'll try to update after a few more monthsI purchased this item in April of 2024 and in end of August one of the bulbs had already burned out. supposedly LEDs are supposed to last a significant amount of time. I used Halogen bulbs for years. These were rated as compatable with the same base as the halogen.

I have been trying to replace my stove hood light bulb for 6 months by going to every store that I thought would carry them….no luck! I tried Amazon on a Wednesday and had a bulb that actually worked in 2 days!

At first I was thrilled with the brightness of this bulb but after less than two months the bulb has already burned out. Expensive for this poor quality product.

These bulbs have a sufficiently narrow neck to fit into our appliance range hood which has not been the case with some other models of these appliance lamps I've purchased. I'm hoping they - being LED bulbs - will last much longer than the halogen bulbs usually used in appliance range hoods. These use 5w vs. 50w for the halogens they replaced, and are equally bright.

These were bought to replace halogen bulbs. Worked well initially, not hot to touch but one burned out after 7 1/2 months. So I kept my old working (one) halogen to use for now but will definitely order another brand. I do not recommend this item.

I bought these for my Dacor vent hood. The 75W incandescent bulbs I had been buying were only lasting months so I decided to try LED. So far these work great, are dimmable, and are bright enough. They aren't quite as bright as the 75W incandescent but I will give up some brightness for longevity. Hopefully these last a while - if not I will update the review.
