Interesting, innovative tool. Very sharp. Long tines. So it works for some of my weeds, but not all. Depending on the root system and the density of the soil, this tool either pulls out the weed, root and all. Or it cuts through the root, leaving it to grow again. Better than a hoe? A rake? You bet! Better than a shovel, too.

I ordered this one after using a smaller one. Who could say I like weeding. Being larger i can get more in single swipe. I feel I'll have this for a long time.

I am accustomed to PULLING weeds out with various tools (like the grandpa style ones or the corkscrew inserted into the ground twist it around and yank it out ones) but this tool has incredibly sharp tines and blades attached to them that will absolutely cut through them. If that's what you want, I couldn't imagine anything being better than this because of how sharp it is.At least in my situation, it wasn't going to PULL any of the weeds out, but it certainly cut them down. And can cut into the soil, if needed.

We have some very stubborn weeds in my flower bed and this tool has made removing them so much easier. I love to use this thing when I am waiting for my kids to get off of the bus and have used it to great effect several times this season. you will love the ability to just pull the weeds towards you and rip them out verses having to grab them by hand. The handle is pretty comfortable, but I find I have more stamina if I work with a pair of cloth gloves.
