Mounts easy, even comes with hardware to mount. Holds my 7.5lb custom rifle, does not wiggle or move. Solid when mounted.

Super easy to mount, fits well with my Ruger A.R. 15. Holds 1-2 magazines as well.

The item is listed as 2 in 1 and, horizontal or vertical. This is some misdirection on the part of the listing. A rifle only mounts in one orientation, unlike others that I have ordered and liked. It is true the rifle can point in either direction but if you want to change the orientation to horizontal or vertical you have to unscrew the mount and then mount it in the preferred direction. Deceptive descriptions aside, this mount seems very sturdy and I believe it to be made of a high-quality nylon polymer but I have not yet tested it to see if it has any glass fiber content. The screen printing is nice though I do question the longevity of the graphics after repeated use. It should be noted that if locking your rifle to the wall is a concern for you, there is no good way to do so with this mount. It does have a hole in the mount that is intended for a lock but since the lock cable will not be routed through the magazine well and ejection port, the rifle will still be operational and possibly not even secured to the mount. Because this mount does not actually come with a lock, you will have more options to secure it but it is still not designed with security in mind. If you would like more information about this you can go to a popular video site and search for "LPL 1024". I ordered two of these from different sellers and I suspect they are made in the same facility.

This mount is a lightweight, heavy duty molded plastic. It can be mounted in any position and holds the AR in place. There is a hole through it for a lock to secure the AR to it. There is also a channel on the bottom of the mount for a magazine to be held upside down. The mag storage only works horizontally, it isn't a tight fit so the mag will fall right to the ground if mounted at too great of an angle. It also is not wide enough to hold mags with a wider baseplate (H&K mags) but does easily hold standard mags. With this mount, you slide the mag well over the mount and it clicks into place. You press the mag release to remove the AR. This feature functions with the rifle facing either direction and in any position. With the size of this you can literally mount it just about anywhere, helpful in keeping something accessible for when you may need to have something close by. I am very pleased with this product!

I can't say enough good things about this mount. I have a similar one that is good for holding the rifle but the magazine holder leaves a lot to be desired. This mount, however, is terrific. The rifle mounts horizontally on the peg that fits the magazine well, and also takes advantage of the mag lock. So, once you have it on there it will not come off until you push the mag release button. Then, it has a slot at the bottom to slide in (from either side) and store a single magazine, held in by the mag's base (note, however, that some magazines have extended plastic at the base for extra strength or to run straps through - those may not fit). It even has a horizontal hole through the bottom of the mount where you can run a cable through and around the rifle to lock it in place and keep curious hands from being able to remove it (or at least deter them). It comes with mounting hardware, some fairly seriously sized drywall auger-type anchors (which makes sense since a decked out rifle can be a bit weighty). I was a bit concerned about wall clearance with the rifle mounted, but it's more than adequate. Even with a tripod mounted to mine (which makes it overall a bit wider), it still cleared the wall. Love this mount.

Got this for my husband to review and he can't stop saying how much he likes it. It was easy to install into the wall and holds what he wanted it to. He said it was very easy to use and he wants to get more!

This is a wall mount for BOTH a .556 and a slot underneath to secure a standard magazine. The ease of access to both is optimal, and the material is both lightweight & strong. Attach it right and you won’t have a SINGLE issue with it holding firm and secure. The bottom grove for the magazine attachment is a VERY clever design solution, and truly is very function, not a gimmick. Now for the part of attaching it. There are included two holes for install, honestly if you hit a stud on one you’ll be good. Installation took less than five minutes, and most of that was verifying I was actually on a stud so I suppose technically that part doesn’t even count. Elegant, well made, EXTREMELY useful for both STORAGE & EASE OF ACCESS. AS STATED, PERFECT.
