this sanding pad fits well on the Festool sander. The hook pad also worked well with my pile sand paper. It appears to be very well made with all the different layers of material bonded well to each other. Its a very soft pad, so be aware of that when sanding -- its possible to bias one side and sand a gouge in your material. But, its very handy when using the soft pad on curved surfaces.I've not used it that much yet, so I cannot comment on durability -- the Festool sander seems to burn up sanding pads fairly quickly so I'm hoping this pad last a good while.Nice product!

It does seem a bit lighter than factory festal, the pattern for sandpaper worked, it is one heck of lot cheaper and does work fine.

Normally if I purchase high end tools I'll spring for OEM parts but I decided to try this backing pad for my sander. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. It looks and works just like the original and now I have an extra hard pad to help keep edges from rounding over. No issues with dust collection and it was simple to install. As long as the price makes sense and isn't over the OEM equipment, I recommend giving this one a try.
