This is a Chinese copy of a Sloan cartridge. I bought the "enhanced" version. It didn't work. I installed it correctly and the tank filled properly and shut off. However, after the first flush, the water continued running. I removed the cartridge and found that the bottom O-ring had come off of it's shaft. I replaced it and the same thing happened again. I then replaced the O-ring from the original and it wouldn't work. Comparing the O-rings, it became apparent that the new O-ring was softer than the original and had a somewhat smaller diameter. I ended up buying the Sloan part for a few dollars more and it worked perfectly. Save yourself some aggravation and buy the Sloan OEM cartridge.

This piece of junk replacement part lasted approximately 50 flushes before it began to fail. I talked to a Flushmate representative sometime in JUNE after struggling approximately 6 weeks with a toilet that 50% of the time would not stop the water from constantly running, consequently the tank rarely filled properly. He told me he gets this type of call all day long, and wasn't surprised to hear from me on this issue since I didn't use an OEM part. His solution of course was to ONLY USE FLUSHMATE GENUINE PARTS made right here in the good old USA. As a final resort before getting rid of the the toilet I took his advice since the toilet wasn't more than 7 years old, and otherwise in good shape. I am happy to say, he was absolutely right, and I will never make that mistake again pertaining to this product. The cost of this part was no different than the cost of the junk I purchased from China on this website, $35. The only difference was I had to pay an additional $7 for shipping. Hopefully the OEM part will last as long as the original part and once it fails this time I will know exactly how to act.

I purchased a replacement flush cartridge shank for a Flushmate toilet. After installing it I placed the actuator on but upon adjusting it head a pop and felt the inner core twist a little I was not applying excessive pressure, rather, I was very gingerly in the installation. I was able to set the water back into the unit which seemed fine until I test flushed it and the water continued to run on and the unit would not reset. I took the cartridge back out to inspect it and realized it was missing the lower O ring. It is not in the tank therefore I believe i had missed the fact that it was delivered without that part. The screw for locking the actuator in lace was also much too large for the application. Basically, the unit was defective.

Replaced a broken cartridge from our Flushmate toilet. This repair was about 5 minutes total using the Flushmate tool. So far working as the original did. Very happy.
