The antenna is easy to set up in about 10 minutes. You will need a plastic or wood pole to help it keep the loop shape. I used a stick I found on the ground in my first test and that worked fine. The antenna works great and I was able to receive stations in East and Central Asia from the Pacific Northwest, USA on my first try.

Doesn't have any of the right connections for my stereo. No instructions. It's ridiculous what it takes to set it up. And it's a piece of junk! The only reason I gave it two stars is that it got to me reasonably fast. But I threw the piece of cr-pp away. Waist of my money!

I bought the MLA30+, because I have quite a bit of interference with my long wire. It really made a difference. Some advice. Use a wood or PVC pole/pipe, not metal. Metal will interfere with the magnetic waves of this loop antenna. The pole/pipe should be about five feet in height.Tip: You could use a beach umbrella anchor, to drive it in the ground. Pretty nifty.Worth it!

This antenna is amplified and brings in weaker and distant signals.Works best on code signals and sw stations. I did not receive many amateur stations and no citizen band stations . I used it indoors propped on a window curtain rod. The signals outside of fm broadcast are very subjective to environmental conditions.

Using a cheap ATS-20 radio and the antenna definitely works and picks up more stations than the stock ant. Would recommend.

I'm happy with the performance of this antenna for HF. It works ok up to 10-11 Meters but great on 20 Meters. A couple nights ago 40 Meter HAM was coming in like it was next door. I'm using a Nooelec SDR and the 'Ham it UP' upconverter. I currently have the loop mounted in the vertical orientation, 15ft up with a building on one side. If I could figure out how to mount it in the horizontal above the building I'm sure it would be much better.

I've been testing this antenna for past few months & here is what i noticed.1) My super cheap Long Wire Antenna works much better than this antenna.2) 99% of the time there was no difference in reception between my Long Wire Antenna & MLA 30+ antenna.3) If you are someone who's buying from India use Long wire Antenna instead of this junk because it will be super expensive. This antenna actually costs about Rs.2k to 3k but these sellers are selling at Rs 7k.

My first MLA 30 sits just outside along our fence. It's assembled onto an Ugly Stick. That Ugly Stick has been out in the elements for over two years and it still pulls up phat signals on strong broadcasts!! With the MLA30 you don't get the jampacked signals like you do on the Wellbrook or W6LVP but for the price you pay, which isn't much, you get a good quality Shortwave Antenna that can be used indoors, although it has better performance outside and a little higher up. If you're a beginner, you're gonna love this Antenna because it's going to greatly receive alot more signals for your radio than you're used to! Just off the telescopic Antenna! Alot of things in this hobby are cheap and fun to learn and setup! Buy a bunch of crap, and see what you can come up with! In the fascinating world of the Radio Hobby
