The gear appeared to have been badly 3-D printed, was extremely badly finished and would not fit the rod to which it should have attached. My guess is that most people will buy it in optimism, not realising the difficulty of dismantling the printer or will blame themselves if they can't make the part fit, and so the vendor will get few enough returns to make money. Be warned - this is not a proper replacement part and selling it as such is a scam.In photos, genuine part (HP) is light grey, and shoddy rip-off part is black. You can see how much better finished the genuine part is, and it is made of a high-density, hard-wearing plastic, unlike the "replacement".
