I replaced the freezer side with these lights, the fridge has the original lights. They all light up which is nice, but they are noticeably dimmer. Not so sure this is an actual improvement though o no lights Olin the freezer. Tried to do the get help but it defaulted to a list on how to fix my dryer? You get what you pay for, in this case extremely dim lights.

This replacement bulb is about half as bright as the original. The bulb fits perfectly and went in easily, but now my lower compartment is dimly lit.

Popped right in. Worked great. Just make sure you give room inside for the plug. I broke first one by pressing against connector. Cracked card.

I purchased this item, to replace 3 bulbs in my Whirlpool WRX988SIBM01 fridge. In my situation, I had the center light in the freezer area go out, as well as two lights in the upper right portion of the refrigerator section.I first replaced the one in my freezer. Getting the old one out, is sort of a pain. You have to use a putty knife to wedge in between the lip of the light assembly, and the freezer body. The putty knife then disengages the clip holding the light in place. You then pull the light fixture out. It takes a moderate amount of force to do this.Once that was done, the new light plugged in and clipped into place easily. The light came on, as soon as I restored power to the fridge. Also: the two lights that were out in the fridge section, also came back on. Apparently, they are wired in series with the freezer light. Hopefully this information can help others with a similar situation. You may only have to replace one light, instead of 3.

Replacement LED light for Kenmore refrigerator , shut power off and replaced Light works fine. Old one was off and top lights were not as bright , they all work now.

The plugs were not compatible, but that did not stop me from using this light. I cut the plug off the dead light and spliced it onto the new light. Works fine now. It was the light in the freezer that died, and since the lights are in series, all the lights in the top of the frig were out also. Watch some youtube videos to learn how to access the freezer light. Once replaced, all the lights on the circuit are back to normal. This purchase easily saved me a $100 service call.Update: Received 1 June 2022, Installed 8 June 2022, Stopped working 20 July 2022. Maybe I got a dud, but the light failed in less than 2 months.
