Got a small for my 25lb high energy boy. Super comfortable for long hikes and swimming. He chafes easily and the fleece lining is fantastic. Second dog I've used one of these harnesses for.

I purchased this harness to introduce my dog to pulling. My dog is enjoying pulling but is a pretty sensitive dog so he’s still figuring out how to lean into the pull. He also used to spook easily and while he’s gotten better confidence is still a work in progress so I decided to try and short harness with him to match his current pull style and because they’re harder to slip from.First impression: It’s beautiful and well made. You can see a lot of care went into making it and I have no doubts that it will hold up well. It’s very nicely padded with a soft fleece and my dog was very receptive to wearing it. The padding I think would make this a great everyday harness for dogs with sensitive skin, and possibly dogs prone to matting. It has a nice stiff feel to it preventing it from bunching into the armpits but the profile is still very sleek. The shape allows for full shoulder movement. There are 4 attachement points: 1 chest, 1 center back, and 2 side which is a really cool feature for anyone looking for that versatility. It also has a neck buckle for easy release without going over the head making it a good choice for gear shy dogs.My dog is a hard fit dog - tall thin and narrow with a deep chest and skinny neck. He was between sizes so the fit wasn’t as perfect as I would like but the company offers custom sizes so now that I know he likes this harness I will likely pick up a custom size.

As a professional dog trainer, I'm choosy about what kind of harness I put on my dogs. I've been using the bulky walking harnesses with the wide chest piece, but was looking for something less bulky. I was familiar with Alpine name and happy to find this product on Amazon! The back piece does slide a little to the side when the dog pulls, but not bad, and no more than other harnesses. My dog, who is somewhat touch sensitive on her legs, happily accepts this harness. It goes on easily and fits well. I'm happy with this purchase.

I started biking with my dog this year using a walkydog bike attachment. I put him in a cheaper harness I had bought off Amazon but I noticed that he had a bald spot from that harness after running with the bike a couple times, so I knew we needed a better harness to avoid injury. After some research, I found this. I really like that it has side clips because that keeps the harness from sliding over as my other one did (it only had a back clip). It's also super padded and soft. Since getting this, my dog has been safe from any injuries caused by the friction/chafing of the harness because this harness does not chafe at all! It was a bit on the expensive side but honestly worth every penny to keep my dog from getting hurt. It also has a front clip which is a bit better than the back clips if you have a dog that pulls. I still prefer a gentle leader for walking, but this is fantastic for biking with the dog. I think the only "negative" I could say is that I wish there was more reflective material on it rather than just the one little spot of it. Also my dog is on the smaller side of large so the harness I got just barely fits him on the smallest adjustments (and honestly might still be a bit big), so maybe I could've sized down... He's sort of in-between a medium and large. Overall, though, it's honestly a fantastic harness.

Very well made and very easy to adjust. And so easy to put on and take off. My goldens love it, so does mom! Well worth the cost, I believe this harness will last for quite a long time. The videos on the manufacturers website were extremely helpful for measuring for size, watch them and measure carefully before purchasing-there is a custom fit version and an adjustable version of this harness. It turned out the adjustable version worked perfect for me. If you are a regular walker, you and your dogs will love this harness!

I did a lot of hunting and reading about harnesses to use on my dog to go bike riding. He’s getting ready for his Schutzhund AD test so lots of prep to do the 12 mile run. So I wanted something safe and comfortable while still being durable. This one consistently popped up with excellent reviews. They were right. It’s a great harness. Love that it has three rings on the back. I can connect to the side D ring with the bike (left or right) so it doesn’t slide as much on him like the top ring. There’s also a front ring for those that need it. It has a soft inner lining with slight padding so it doesn’t hurt my dog. No rubbing or interference with his movement. The clasps are strong and it has small covers that slide over them to protect them. Even the straps have elastic covers to keep any excess held down so there’s no floppy extra banding. Adjusting for your dog is easy however do it off your dog. Its designed to hold pretty good so it’s hard to do it while on the dog. Once set, you know it’s not going to slide and loosen. Overall, it is very well made and durable. Definitely worth the price!

It’s great. But the front ring isn’t too good. Yes it stops pulling but it pushes the harness all over the place. Other than the front ring the harness is perfect. Amazing quality to keep the dog comfortable. A great harness
