I don't know how most folks keep their toothpicks. We've kept them 2 ways over the years: either in a cardboard box in which we bought them or in a plastic cylinder-shaped container in which we've bought them. And one complaint we have about the plastic containers is: We always manage to crack them some way.Also, with both containers, there's a lot of fingertip contact with the other toothpicks.Perhaps after a couple of years of concern about germs, we were ready to do something different and we saw this elegant toothpick dispenser. We're very pleased, now.The outside is easy to keep clean and we're not having to handle all the toothpicks to select one.Happy to recommend this to others.

Very attractive holder. My previous holder was just a box and I would spill a couple toothpicks every other time I needed one. I was going to give it 4 stars because it required several shakes to get a toothpick through the hold but I realized that I was holding it wrong by trial & error. I was able to get the toothpick through the hole every time I tried it by holding the holder with the hole faced down and tapping it on the palm of my other hand, easy peasy. It makes a nice gift.

This Toothpick Holder Toothpicks 304 Stainless Steel Toothpick Dispenser with 400 Bamboo Toothpicks is a nice little set, good for home use in the kitchen or cleaning after a meal. Very impressed with the quality of the actual holder.My wife and I have mentioned on more than one occasion after a meal out that it would be nice to have a toothpick. We grew up in those days when such things were usually available at the entrance to a restaurant then realized how that’s not a given anymore. I happened to spot this Toothpick Holder Toothpicks 304 Stainless Steel Toothpick Dispenser with 400 Bamboo Toothpicks and grabbed it, thinking she could carry it in her purse and we’d always have some with. Turns out... I was a bit right, but a bit wrong. This Toothpick Holder Toothpicks 304 Stainless Steel Toothpick Dispenser is really nice. It looks nice and it feels nice - the silver is polished and sharp, giving a classy look that would work in most any kitchen or dining room. My wife has also commented on how the included toothpicks, while seeming to us like good quality, can be used for cooking, presentation, as well as teeth cleaning.But the holder is also a nice material, thick and solid looking and feeling, a quality set (top and bottom) that feels substantial. We were both surprised by how “thick” and well made they are. That said, the holder is pretty large (note comparison to a TV remote) so NOT going to work well in her purse, unless she doesn’t mind carrying around a bowling ball. Okay, I exaggerate, but in a way, accurate in that, NO, she is NOT going to carry around this weight. But it’s also a decent size that would almost fill or at least take over many of her bags. So... we are going to continue to look for the right toothpick holder (smaller, holding maybe 10 toothpicks at a time) that works better for carrying in her purse, but while we COULD use this in the car and simply wait till we get out to the car, we decided to keep this Toothpick Holder Toothpicks 304 Stainless Steel Toothpick Dispenser with 400 Bamboo Toothpicks at home in the kitchen, allowing us to use at home (which we do) as well as for cooking and presentation (which she is happy about having the option). In the end, we are both happy with the choice of the Toothpick Holder Toothpicks 304 Stainless Steel Toothpick Dispenser with 400 Bamboo Toothpicks and will get some good use out of it.

I absolutely love the quality! I ordered just to see what the quality of a $30 toothpick holder could possibly be and it is of amazing quality! I was extremely surprised. It even comes full of toothpicks!Screwing off the lid to refill is quite easy and the toothpicks come right out after a few shakes. Definitely solves the problem of having to hide the toothpicks that you bought at the store because of the awful look. This gives a very modern, fashionable look especially if you have stainless steel appliances. I would definitely buy other products from this company. You’ll be shocked at the amazing quality! I thought I was going to be disappointed about the office it definitely happened!

First of all, this is a very substantial toothpick holder and a solid piece of stainless. It is much heavier than it needs to be but feels solid and pleasing in use. The mirror finish will pick up fingerprints over time.Simple in design--just a threaded round container with a toothpick sized hole n the lid. Pick it up and shake it upside down to dispense an individual toothpick in a hygienic way. It comes loaded with picks but I replaced them with my favorite carved bamboo ones.Happy with this.

this is a great little dispenser. it was just what i was looking for to hold toothpicks. i hate keeping them in the box, because they are so small, and they end up just falling out of the seams of the box they come in. this is so much better. just shake it a bit, and out pops a toothpick! great holder.

The dispenser is solid made…good quality, great look and very heavy. But it has a huge design flaw. The purpose of these dispensers is to allow you to retrieve a toothpick without having people make contact with other toothpicks in the dispenser. No one wants everyone molesting the entire group of picks every time they grab one. When this thing is full it’s very difficult to get a toothpick out. I shook the stuffing out of this thing for what felt like forever before anything would come out so it won’t work as well if you completely fill it up. The hole is also too large. When something finally does come out it’s usually 2-3 picks at a time, which defeats the purpose of keeping the picks in the dispenser clean and sanitary. Since the dispensing feature is the actual reason for buying this, not the look, then I can only rate it 3 stars.
