If you pop the hood of your car and look at the strut mounts and see cracks, which I had on a 1991 Mercedes 300te, you need to change the strut mounts. These parts were an exact fit. The picture shows the mount upside down, just for your information. The total time it took me to replace one of the struts was 20 minutes, so it will take about 40 minutes total.

High quality part. Fits perfectly in my 91 300e. These need to be replaced when they start cracking. Its a cheap fix and required for most of our 20 year old cars.
