This didn't fit my BMW 525i 2002 tail light socket.I even brought it to a BMW dealer to verify this and they confirmed the same.

Didn’t work for my BMW E36 (Z3). Would be nice if the part description stated compatible vehicles or something. It looked very close to what i needed in the picture but when i received the product I could tell instantly it wouldn’t work. Tried it anyway and it didn’t work of course. The contact points are not strait across from each other, they are offset a bit, which is hard to see in the photographs.
