  • Find your lens filter size (in mm) printed near the Ø symbol on the lens or back of the lens cap. You can also find your filter size on your lens cap, or search online with your lens model, e.g., "Canon EF 24mm f1.4L USM II filter size" for 77mm.

  • Urth has two ranges: Urth (standard) with Japanese AGC glass and an 8-layer nano-coating, and Urth Plus+ (professional) with German SCHOTT glass and a 20-layer nano-coating (30 layers for UV Plus+).

  • Yes, our filters are double-threaded for stacking. For best image quality, use only one filter at a time as stacking can cause vignetting. Avoid stacking more than two filters.

  • Variable ND: Good for changing light.

    Fixed ND: Best for control.

Remember, higher ND numbers mean more light restriction. For bright conditions or silky water effects, use ND64 to ND1000. ND64 is versatile for most situations.

  • For wide-angle and telephoto lenses, we recommend our Variable ND2-32, ND8-128 or fixed ND filters to avoid an x-cross effect in your photos.

received the box, but no filter inside. Just a bag of dirt. Would not risk ordering another

Fits well, quality is great. I do use it over a UV filter, so at anything below 35mm there will be a vignette.

Ordered a neutral density filter which came as two separate filtersdensities... OK I guess. Received a circular polarizer which is nothing more than two clear pieces of glass, "0" polarizing. Lesson learned, stick with known brands~

Obviously a high quality filter, now I am comparing it to using years of Tiffen 4x4 glass which is more money!but those heavy glasses cant be used on a cellphone and this one canthe only thing i notice is a color hue shift when you turn this "ND" filter in front of your eyei know they are using polarizers, but being an ND filter it is supposed to be NEUTRAL and not cast any colorsso i dont know the kelvin range, of orange to blue color shift i am seeing, its something the samsung note ultra can handle

I bought this to use with an R5 and a RF 85mm 1.2. On their own, this combo is extremely sharp wide open so I shoot at f/1.2 all of the time.My Canon EF to RD ND adapter has spoiled me since there's no noticeable IQ degradation or shift in color (unless you go past the intended max and it's still sharp but with color shift). But of course, I can't use the adapter with a native RF lens so I had to get a filter.I considered getting a B+W filter but their solutions are fixed ND and if I recall correctly, their variable option doesn't go as high at this filter. I want to be able to shoot at f/1.2 in max sunlight and at x-sync with flash so this seemed to be at the sweet spot at 6 stops reduction as a starting point and 10 stops max.I used it for a shoot the first time and there's not a huge sharpness decrease at f/1.2 but I can tell that it's sharp, but also a bit fuzzy. I stopped using it after about 20 shots because I was worried that the sharpness was a bit off but when reviewing the pictures, it looks fine. I do think I would have to stop down to f/1.4 to get some of the sharpness back and I've only used it at its lowest setting so far so I don't know how well it'll hold up at 10 stops reduction.I'm in between rating this 4 or 5 stars and I give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 5 for now. It's not too expensive for what it is and it beats switching filters mid-shoot.
