I am sending this back and keeping another brand that is less than 1/4 of the price. I’d have gladly payed a bit more for this, like around 30, but $70 for this adapter is not justifiable especially since it’s all manual and there are no electric contacts to worry about. Machining and quality are really impressive and it weighs more than the cheaper ones, but can’t justify the more than $50 price difference I’m afraid.

This is one of the higher end adapters I have used and found the fit, finish and function to be worth the cost! It seats solidly into the camera and holds the lens tightly....no wiggle or 'loose' feeling.

Rien à redire sur la qualité. Il n'y a pas de jeu. Comme dit précédemment dans un commentaire, pour pouvoir prendre une photo, il faut activer la fonction "déclenchement obturateur sans objectif" sur son appareil photo. Dans mon cas, un Canon R6 mark II, il faut aller dans le menu n°6 et la page 4 pour l'activer.

Eerlijk gezegd snap ik een deel van alle negatieve beoordelingen niet. Een groot deel hiervan komt neer op een "kon met mijn moderne digitale camera geen foto maken, want mijn apparaat deed niets".Zelf heb ik een adapter gekocht om pentax K-lenzen (met een (P)K-mount dus) te kunnen gebruiken op mijn Canon R6. Werkt perfect! Je moet alleen wel een instelling wijzigen in het menu, zodat de camera ook de sluiter wil bedienen zonder dat er een lens gemonteerd is ("release shutter without lens"). Anders wil de camera inderdaad geen foto's maken. Immers: de oudere lenzen hebben immers geen elektronische onderdelen in zich die een camera zouden kunnen laten weten dat ze gemonteerd zijn! En andersom: ze kunnen de lenzen ook niet aansturen wat betreft focus/diafragma. Maar dat is ook het hele idee van lenzen met manual focus: dat je zelf handmatig je diafragmaopening kiest!Tip bij het gebruik op de R6: gebruikt bij schieten met vintagelenzen de Rv-modus, zodat je snel sluitertijd, evt stops over/onderbelichten, ISO met de hand in kan stellen. Zet je de ISO daarbij nog op automatisch, dan maak je jezelf het helemaal makkelijk. Krijg er prima belichte foto's mee!!

Ich hatte den Adapter gekauft, um meine alten Canon FD Objektive auf der Canon EOS RP einzusetzen. Was soll ich sagen: Es funktioniert einwandfrei. Blende und Fokus müssen natürlich manuell eingestellt werden. Auch an der Kamera müssen zuvor die richtigen Einstellungen vorgenommen werden. Die Ergebnisse sind jedoch so gut wie die Objektive. Die Qualität der FD Objektive leidet nicht, da der Adapter keine Linse enthält.

This works as described and this is not going to work with auto focus and that’s the nature of the product what this does do is allow you to use lenses from a different manufacture you only have to use manual focus and it works perfectly and I highly recommend if you want to use your Nikon lenses with your canon camera

I bought the Canon RF to Minolta MD mount, it worked exactly as it should, my lenses focused to infinity, and they clicked in firmly, I've had zero issues with this adapter. The adapter feels very sturdy and quality.

Product works very well, but the actual packaging holding the adapter was opened by someone prior to me receiving it. There were two strips of tape on the side holding the case closed, but they were cut open.

I got F to RF mount to put my Nikon lenses on Canon EOS R. Of course, focus and aperture cannot be controlled from the camera, so both are manual - as expected. The mount is tight. I actually struggled to mount the lens for the first time, cause I was hesitant to put too much force. Mounting adapter on the camera is easy, like any other lens. Anyways, I’m happy with a product. Built quality is great!Don’t forget to enable “Release shutter with no lens” in the camera settings.

This thing is beautifully engineered and also built like a tank! Got the M42-Canon RF mount version and it works well on my EOS RP. I've tested it with a Helios 44-2 and also a Helios 44M, and it allows infinity focus since the adapter is deep and so the rear lens elements have room to go in. There's also a lip collar inside the M42 screw mount that pushes down the aperture pins found on some later model M42 lenses. Overall a great purchase, and I recommend spending the money to get this instead of no-name third party brand adapters. As a bonus, the packaging is lovely and hey they plant trees too.

This is just what I needed to use my Contax Zeiss lenses on my Canon R6. The adapter appears well made and the round box makes a nice storage case. The adapter fits very well, not too tight, not too loose. There's no wiggle when mounted and it doesn't fit so tightly that it binds when mounting the lens. The adapter is nicely finished with no sharp edges to scratch the lens mount. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Gobe makes very good lens filters so why they would put their name on this clunker is a mystery to me. I didn't read the product description well....and that's MY fault, but an EF-RF adapter that is a MANUEL FOCUS ONLY adaptor? Camera AUTO FOCUS cannot function because this is only an adaptor WITHOUT the electronics built in. Well, that is pretty worthless to me. Save your money for the full function adaptor....READ the product descriptions....and do not buy this paper weight.
