Only reason this is getting 3 stars is because it is cheap. The hand guard rattles and is cheaply built. But it’s a cheap price so what do you really expect.

Seller will not help in shipping issues. Had to drive to pick up even though I paid for home delivery on major road.Blade length fine, edge very poor and good luck spending hours sharpening for it to be useful. So dull won’t cut out of plastic wrapped in, tape or hot wood with it and doesn’t leave a mark. It’s a tough edge, 45 degrees at best, you’ll have to spend a lot of time working through grits to get the blade sharp if possible at all.Recommend based on lack of customer service, having to pick up with no delivery refund and blade bluntness in unbelievable level DO NO BUY

Very nice very pointy. My son loves it. It is not super heavy. It is sharp and I think it's a good product for the price.

It is really sharp, so be careful. Only issue is that it’s made in CHINA. 😕

This is a great idea. An effective short sword with a hilt almost long enough to make it an assegai (short spear) with a 2 handed grip. Looks great and it's light enough for extended carry. Strictly a weapon, although it's small serrated section might give it some utility as a tool. And a fine weapon for home and trail. One of the best short of a firearm. However, it won't really cut brush and is no substitute for a machete. It's double edge can make it dangerous to use in that manner, since a blade rebounding from a heavy twig or other obstruction can cut the one swinging it with the edge facing facing the user. Ancient warriors used shields to defend against not only their enemy's weapons but their own as well when parried or otherwise deflected. But, it has some quality issues. The blade has a true edge on both sides but isn't as sharp as it should be, and one side seems a bit sharper than the other. Most noticeably, the the tang isn't fully flush with the hilt and and cross guard, creating a slight gap, and some movement in the cross guard. And gosh, it might get even worse after one has dispatched an undead sasquatch or two. I have relatively small hands so I have no trouble with a two handed grip. But someone with big hands might. I would add a star if the quality issues were solved. And a fifth star if the grip was about 2-3" longer.
