It's good for a wall display, that's why I got it πŸ‘

This item makes for a good wall hanging decoration. For the price it is excellent. As an arms collector, it does not look real hanging near true weapons though. I would suggest hanging this separately from any real black powder or muzzle loader weapons, or even better a wall by itself. For myself it will act as a placeholder until I build my own Navy or Army revolver. I believe it is worth the money but it is not a true replica. As a toy it is excellent, but be aware the barrel end has a plug to make it look real, and when detached it could be a choking hazard for a young child.

Had to paint the cheap stand to make it look presentable however it is a solid display and super eye catching.

This was a great purchase for a relatively low price. Was looking for a prop for a short film I'm planning on doing and too many of the cowboy revolvers I found on amazon either had an orange cap at the front of the barrel making it obvious it was a toy, or they were over $100. This struck the perfect balance between price and authenticity. The gun was heavier than I was expecting, weighing in around 2 pounds, but that adds to the piece in my opinion. The only issue I have is I wish the chamber would rotate when shot, like a real revolver. It does rotate, but not after a shot, you have to do it manually. Still I'll take what I can get. Overall you shouldn't be upset with this purchase.

This thing is pretty cool! Mostly metal and it’s got my son acting like a cowboy

This gun is very close to the dimensions of an actual 1851 Navy Colt. The cylinder does not rotate when you cock the hammer. However you can turn it by hand but that serves no real purpose. Pulling the trigger will make the hammer drop. It is made of pot metal not steel. It is a decorative piece plain and simple. The gun I got was silver with black plastic grips which look like horn. I ordered the black gun with white grips. The product is very attractive and suits my purpose even though it is the wrong color. So my rating is for the product not the service. That gets 0 stars for sending the wrong item.

I got the wrong color pistol, but it still looks cool.
