U.S. Solid 1/4" 12V DC Normally Closed Pneumatic Solenoid Valve
The U.S. Solid pneumatic solenoid valve features a Aluminum Alloy body for general outdoor and indoor use. It is only favored by filtered air.
Direction of the Flow
Most U.S. Solid Valves are UNIDIRECTIONAL
Make a note of the arrow on your valve. Most U.S. Solid valves are unidirectional. This means they are intended to flow in one direction only, in the direction of the arrow. If connected in opposite directions, the valve will not actuate properly (will not close for Normally Closed valves). Additionally, be sure the medium passing through is filtered. If not, particles will cling to the gasket over time, which can cause it to not seal properly.
IP65 rated protection
Our solenoid valves are designed with an IP65 waterproof rating, providing protection against water and dust ingress. With this level of waterproofing, our ball valves are suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions, ensuring durability and reliability.

Not for water. Connected to a 150gpm water pump, water barely trickles out. Probs works fine in the right application.

Purchased two and I've been using them for 6 months now. They are actuated for approximately 2 minutes at a time 20 times a week. They both started off the same, but one is slowly opening less and less (fluid moving very slowly through it).

The solenoid works okay, but the air flow restriction is very noticeable. Not sure what the aperture of the valve is precisely but a compressor air hose without this solenoid is much higher than the same line once it is installed. I will have to switch it out for something else

I use it as a water coffee machine filler. Valve is not closing all the way after 9 months, hence why my tank slowly overfills and spills water on floor. Could be due to hard water. Going to clean with descaling fluid and possibly add a harder spring. Would be nice if there was replacement seals available.

I use this on an auto fill system. I bought 3 of these. I installed the first, it failed open within 24 hours and flooded out my garage. Can't say I recommend these.
