This guitar floor stand arrived flat pack and without any instructions, but is easy to assemble by slotting the components together. Once assembled the guitar stand measures 33cm in width and 29cm in depth and I ordered this for my partner’s acoustic guitar which fits into the spacing perfectly (the guitar needs to be less than 14cm thick to fit).I received the version ‘GS1’ which has a light wood colour, but is also available in the versions ‘GS2’ and ‘US1’ which are slightly different shapes. The ‘GS1’ has a stable X frame constructed and is made from composite wood with a 1cm thick rubberised edge running all the way around the parts. This rubber layer keeps the stand very securely in place even on hard flooring, and it also protect the surface of the guitar where it comes into contact with the stand, preventing any unnecessary damage.Unfortunately, with my stand it did arrive with a small area of the wooden veneer chipped off, which is a shame. However, this does not affect its functionality and overall, it is a very aesthetically pleasing guitar stand considering most are designed for function only. The stand slots together securely and is also easy to disassemble and lightweight enough to transport around if required. Priced at £13.99 at the time of reviewing, I like this guitar stand and aside from the small amount of damage I think that this is a good addition to prevent my partner’s guitar from being knocked over.

Der Gitarrenständer wird in seinem Einzelteilen geliefert und ist sehr schnell zusammengebaut, sieht gut aus und steht stabil auf dem Boden.Meine übrigen Gitarrenständer sind alle aus Plastik, deshalb fand ich diese Option in Holzoptik eine hübsche Abwechslung.Leider hat sich schon beim Transport an einer Ecke der Schaumstoff gelöst, was ich mit etwas Kleber fixen konnte.Für mich sieht das ganze nicht nach echtem Holz aus bzw höchstens Furnier, aber ich bin auch kein Fachmann. Super hochwertig sieht der Ständer demzufolge nicht aus, aber mit dem gängigen Betrachtungsabstand sieht alles top aus.Dank der Schaumstoffkanten zerkratzt die Gitarre nicht und hat einen stabilen Halt. Für den Preis ein fairer Deal und prinzipiell zu empfehlen. Meiner Einschätzung nach für große, schwere Gitarren weniger geeignet als für leichtere Akustikgitarren. Für die nicht perfekte Verarbeitung ziehe ich einen Stern ab.

This arrived well packaged and was easily assembled. This butterfly style guitar stand holds my guitars very well. It is flexible enough to hold electrics, acoustics and classicals. And the best part is that it will hold a guitar in its padded gig bag. This is my favorite type of guitar stand mainly because of its flexibility. And for around seventeen dollars it is a good value for money.
