USB wire is loose so the light flickers other then that no on off switch so you have to unplug every time you want to turn it off

Lamp looks great, but the LED light doesn’t generate any heat. I read that the heat was what caused the salt ions to spread throughout the room and helped with odors and such, so I don’t know if a cold block of salt has any benefit. It is a really large and heavy block of salt though, and the LED lights it up really pretty.

I have several salt lamps, which I like for both the soothing, orange glow and the air purification aspect. Most of my lamps are natural, but I love the contrast of this cube! It is the perfect foil to the random organic shapes of the natural lamps, kind of like the Borg of salt lamps. The light base mates perfectly to the cube, and lights it up well. A dimmer switch would make it even better!

I find this compact square USB Himalayan Light Salt Lamp very relaxing. The light it emits resembles a cozy fire, with a soft orange glow. The size (3.54"D x 3.54"W x 3.74"H) is perfect to sit on top of my shadow box. Sturdy and attractive. An On/Off switch is the only improvement I would suggest. I am afraid the USB connector will fail after repeated use.

I really like this salt lamp. Just the right size and it's surprisingly heavy. I like how this has an LED base instead the old fashioned light bulb. This lights up much better than older ones I have seen. Also, make sure you rotate the cude to all sides. It has different effects / looks from one side to another. With it being a cube it's much easier to find the side that looks best to you. I would highly recommend this lamp.

Perfect! Just like shown in the photo. The salt is REALLY heavy. I expected a more traditional salt lamp with the bulb, but instead it's an LED stand with the light inside it that the piece of salt sits on and a solid and HEAVY cube of salt (not hollowed out). The lip of the stand could probably be raised a bit to give a more secure fit for the salt, but aside from that there's no complaints. Some of the other reviews mention pale salt with a cold glow, but I got salt just like in the photo (warm glow, nice orange-pink color with some variations in paleness). Other reviews also mention an inconveniently short cord, but I got one that is probably 3 feet long, which is perfectly suitable for what my needs are. It is a usb only plug. It looks stunning! The glow is subtle but strong. Doesn't seem to have any on/off switch or other functions. If it's plugged in, it's on. I'm perfectly happy with this purchase and think it's worth every penny! Beautiful!

This is nice. We really like how bright it is actually—makes it perfect for in our bathroom on the shelf. There are some cracks on the salt itself but we like it—gives the light a little variation. My only real knock with it is that the cord is built-in, and is fairly short. Even allowing a detachable usb-c would let me plug in a longer cord. But with this being built-in, that isn’t an option.

The product seems to work well but as you can see it is not the ambient glow as shown in the images. The light is a bright and cool colour. I've included an image of another salt lamp I own taken using the same camera in the same room with the same lighting.The salt crystal itself is a much less orange colour than expected and this is likely in part what makes the hue much colder than advertised.Another word of warning to be careful as the salt crystal isn't recessed into the base so freely slides about. You can remove the plastic cover that sits in the recess for a more secure fit but I'm not sure what effect the more exposed LEDs would have on the salt crystal.All in all not too bad for the money but its definitely not as warm a hue as shown.

I’m pleased with the general vibe of this salt lamp. Despite being quite a lot smaller than the salt lamp I use in the bedroom, it’s really quite bright. The LED’s in the base pump out a lot of bright white light which spills through the salt and comes out with warm orange-yellow hues. It does just as good a job as a large candle, but theoretically for much longer and potentially more energy-efficiently.No two lumps of rock salt will have exactly the same patterning, and I’ve seen salt lamps with quite murky and dirty cores which will limit the amount of light they let through. However I’m pleased with the low opacity of the cube of salt I received with this one. It is a little bit darker on one side, but since it’s an equal six-sided cube, I can just face the dirtiest side against the wall and treat it as the back of the lamp.It’s nicely if simply presented in a plain card box when it arrives, with reasonable chunks of polystyrene for transit and some plastic wrap around the salt to help it stay dry- so this salt lamp should reach you in good condition, which wasn’t the case for the first one I ever ordered.One note worth mentioning about salt lamps in general is that they really suffer if they are near moisture, even just a little bit of everyday air moisture, and they don’t last forever as a result. Old-fashioned salt lamps use non-LED bulbs deliberately because they get warmer, which helps to dry the salt out a little bit and give them more longevity. Since this lamp is LED-based, the heat from having it switched on will be negligible, so you’ll need to take care to keep it as dry as possible to make sure the salt doesn’t start slowly seeping down onto the base. But for me that problem is outweighed by the benefit of having a low-powered LED version of a salt lamp where I don’t feel like I’m cranking our electricity bill up just by switching it on.I initially thought this might end up just being a rarely-used office desk novelty item, but we’ve already moved it into our living room and started using it as a really nice part of our evening lighting. It exceeded my expectations.

I've always wanted to try a salt lamp for myself as I've heard about them often or saw images of various types of them so of course I would grab one when given the opportunity though whilst the pricing made some sense given the cost of the salt itself it was ultimately rather awkward given that its just a cube of salt placed on a separate and very basic usb powered with a attached cable that is a little on the short side.The unfortunate thing that makes this awkward is that the outcome depends on how lucky you get with the block you receive given that it can be of varying qualities, the good ones genuinely do permeate the light throughout whereas some (like the one I got) seem to have inner cracks that block the light. Could potentially still be recommendable though as value-wise seems decent given the size of the salt block you get even if said block might not be as great as you may hope it to be, when you're dealing with natural things its rare to ever get anything that close to product images.

Great little lamp the cube is very thick and heavy so I wouldn't recommend dropping it, the base is where the LED light is from so you don't have to keep the salt cube if you don't feel like which is great as an option.The base has an integrated usb female? (The part you can attach to a socket) Which I feel is the only let down. Other than this very happy and would recommend

This is ok but not that great. The salt block looks a bit battered and messy and the light is nothing like the glow in the images. It is far whiter and clinical.Also, the cable is far too short and limits you greatly as to where you can place this lamp. On top of a bookcase is out of the question. It would be much better if either you could charge the lamp or could detach the cable to plug in a longer one.The base is well made and when off the lamp looks good. Its just a bit disappointing for the aforementioned reasons and in my view, way too expensive for what it is.
