Use this mount on an MCK for a red dot. I know some guys say not to cheat out on your mounts, but I'm not a Navy Seal, so it will probably last longer than I would in a fire fight or survival situation. It fits. It looks good. And it didn't cost much. It's a winner in my book.

Paid 9 smacks for it in dec 2024 on sale, sold and shipped by amazon . a well machined lightweight piece , it's a picatinny stacker , not aimpoint mount . its very low pro in design , makes my other mounts look bulky , The supplied hardware is GTG . notice the 5 star reviews are 80% that is usually a good indication of quality .. i would buy again and have referred product to others .

Lightweight and rock solid. Comes with a torx wrench and a spare mounting bolt in case you strip one. It looks good on the rifle and doesn't move under recoil or from moderate bumps. Good quality finish holds up well.Excellent mount for Bushnell TRS 25 and Primary Arms mini red dots. With Magpul MBUS sights, the 0.83 inch riser gives you a nice lower 1/3 cowitness. The sights sit below the dot in the lower third of the glass when looking at the dot alone. The 1.0 inch riser will just barely cowitness, but you can only see the very top of the front sight blade when using the iron sights with MBUS and the aforementioned red dots. The 1.0 inch riser was too tall for me, couldn't see enough of the front sight post, and much of area around the post is blocked by the emitter with the TRS 25. I've not tried the 0.75 inch riser, but I suspect it offers an absolute cowitness with the TRS / PA / MBUS setups.Pro Tip: If your iron sights are zeroed in, you can easily zero in your red dot without firing a single shot. Just look through your iron sights in perfect alignment while adjusting the elevation and windage of the red dot so that the dot sits on the top center edge of the front sight post. Make sure you are looking through both front and rear sights in perfect alignment when you do this. This works regardless of the height of the mount or type of cowitnes, and some people think this is cowitnessing. It is not the same as an absolute cowitness, which might explain the conflicting info on riser heights and cowitness. All correctly zeroed iron sights and red dots will appear to be cowitnessed when looking through the iron sights, regardless of the height of the riser. However, with a lower 1/3 cowitness, the dot is also visible above the sights when you move your eye above the iron sights.

Works great to get my little reflex optic up to proper 1/3 co-witness. Seems really sturdy but nice and light.

I'm actually quite surprised with the quality of this riser for the money. It's small, lightweight and feels very sturdy. The 2 star headed screws are solid (wrench is included). The 0.83 gives you perfect co-witness with the Bushnell trs-25 on AR platforms. I use to go with the cheaper UTG riser which is also nice for the money, but this one is worth the extra 10 bucks or so. The 2 screws design is better and the mount is much smaller, slimmer and nicer looking. The TRS-25 combined with this riser gives you quite a decent optic for the money that really can't be beaten. Next step up would be a holosun micro or sig romeo 5, but they go for more than twice the price of this combo.

I bought this riser as a mount for a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot, which seems to be the best choice for budget optics. I went with the .83" for absolute co witness of iron sights, but ended up putting the whole assembly on a 300 Blackout pistol that doesn't have irons yet, so I could take it to the range and shoot it.The good: It's inexpensive, and light. The machining and finish were fine. The bad: The screws keeping the mount on the pic rail worked loose under the recoil. After 40-50 rounds fired, the whole assembly was in danger of falling off the pistol. After I got home, I backed the screws out, and applied some temporary (blue) loc-tite. I think it should work, but I haven't tested it since. I would recommend using loc tite before heading to the range.
