I had this mounted on something but then I lost it in a boating accident. Cool bipod, minor inconvenience having to bring down one leg at a time but you won’t beat it for the price.

I bought it used for $30. Hell of a deal for what it is... but that's why it gets 3 stars. The bipod itself seems sturdy and fixed well to the rifle. I stripped a couple of screws without much effort trying to loosen the legs because they take an uncomfortable amount of effort to move. I'm not saying it's hard to move them per se, but it would be hard to move them under pressure or if you had to move them quickly. Changing the angle of the bipod legs is not a quick process, and the mechanism by which you do so is unintuitive and awkward.Pros: Great value for apparent stability and sturdiness. Checks the absolute basics for a bipod.Cons: Screws strip relatively easily. Slow and awkward manipulation that would be a weak point for any kind of serious tactical use.

This is a rock solid bipod...no nonsense, steel on target, bipod. If you have a keymod rail, this bipod is the last you'll ever purchase. If you can't tell, I'll say it -- I'm impressed.

I've been target shooting this past year and have purchased 5 or 6 bipods in the $20 range. They got the job done but these are my favorite for a few reasons. Cost, $30, looks fantastic and more hi-end, sturdy and easy to mount. Great product.

holds on to the rifle great, does not rattle, stays in set position. I use these on 6.5 Creedmoor, 308 and 5.56, never an issue with these an AR10 or 15 platform. Work as good as the more expensive ones, maybe even better, these don't make silly sounds while in the up position.

I purchased the keymod version and I have to say I am impressed with the quality and value. Nice weight to them. I wasn't concerned over adding weight to my ar since it's mainly a sit down target gun, but I will say if you are really concerned over additional weight, these are on the heavy side. Built sturdy and great positive lock up. Keymod seems very secure and tight. This is my first impression so as I use it more I will update with any negatives. But I've used my fair share of bipods and I feel confident in the quality of these.

I wanted a cheap keymod bipod. For some reason, the selection for keymod bipods was very scarce. I am not sure why because I like keymod a lot better than MLOK (I must be crazy right?)Anyway I also wanted a 2-piece bipod that would attach at either side of the barrel vs. one on the bottom. This is because I run my AR with a vertical grip and thought a bipod might get in the way.All that said, I chose this product because it was cheap, looked decent, and fit my above criteria. For the money this is wonderful. Didn't come lose after many, many rounds (.223) and I was able to zero my optic and make very accurate shots (was only plinking at 25yrds indoor). It was easily adjustable and got the job done.A couple things I wasn't a fan of - not really the product's fault, just overall design and preference. Because this design is so wide, it makes transporting the gun a little awkward. I couldn't fit the gun in its plastic case because of the width - I had to use a sporting "gun bag" sort of thing (normally carry my shot gun or bolt action in) and it worked, but still looked very bulgy. I could get around this by attaching the bipod at my destination but no one wants to fiddle around with allen wrench screws at the range. The other thing is that most of my gun is a matte black AR finish... and this product is a little glossy. Again no issue on the product's end just personal preference. It also adds a good bit of weight. Because of these reason's I ultimately took this off by gun. I'm not even running a bipod anymore - if I decide to, I'll probably put this back on.Overall, this is a great product mainly due to the low cost!

My handguard is about 8" shorter than the barrel. With these mounted, they're always just a little in the way. I'd like it if they were lower profile (thinner) and were setup so they tucked more under the the handguard vs to the side. Makes a nice sleek, slim rifle rather wider in profile when attached. Going with the type that attach to a pic-rail, where the two legs are connected, may be a better solution if you want to keep the weapon's narrow profile. The legs work well. Once attached (correctly!) they stay on tight and sturdy even with lots of deploying and retracting. I was new to Keymod so I had to spend a second and look at the fastner and understand which way the little lip/tang should face to ensure it stays put. A dab of threadlock can't hurt either. I like that there's "dead lugs" molded into the base also so that the unit is held in place very securely and cannot slide loose. When folded towards the trigger, makes a kinda nice flat spot to rest your hand on. When folded towards the muzzle, makes the weapon look like something an 8 year old would draw, some kind of three barreled monstrosity. Handy to keep on for cleaning, keeping the weapon "hugging" a tree so it doesn't tip over, etc. Shrug, no regrets. One thing of note, you'll need to use a 20 round mag or smaller if you want to be able to set the weapon on a flat surface in a way where it's resting on each of the bipod legs and the pistol grip, or if you want to use a table to shoot from. Pretty unstable when it's resting on the end of a mag' instead.
