Mounting holes are slightly off. I had to pin the jaws opened slightly to get the holes to line up. Since the holes are misaligned it leaves a gap in the blades as shown in the photo. 2.7mm at the top and 1.5mm at the bottom. I don't want to knock the jaws too much as being the problem. I am putting this on 24in 600mm craftsman handles. Craftsman does odd things so that you can only use their replacement parts. I don't know if it's a compatibility problem with craftsman but reading reviews it seems others who purchased these had no problems with fitment.I took about 3mm of steel off the handle stop. This brought the jaws slightly closer. Taking off anymore than that is pretty useless since you can only get what the multiplying force set-up allows and since the bolt holes aren't right, it's never going to get there either way.However, even with the gap it does cut through larger diameter bolts easily. Smaller dia., it doesn't cut all the way through.I'm not going to return the jaws. I'll keep them to abuse on the bigger stuff and buy a new bolt cutters.

For costing almost as much as a new set of bolt cutters would cost, these should have fit better.

Cutter lacked 1/8 in. from closing completely. Also noted that it was not as beeffy as original. Returned.
