I bought this to install on my Polaris RZR. When it arrived, I removed the original gas cap, installed this one, then twisted until it clicked.I used the key to lock it, verified it couldn't be removed, then unlocked it (key still inserted).I could remove the cap, lock and unlock, but could no longer remove the key!A locking gas cap with a permanently-installed key isn't much use.Returned the product.

Key is hard to get in or out. You can't tell if you are damaging it when you use it. It makes a clicking noise. I dont know if this is normal. Sometimes it locks. Sometimes it dosent.

We purchased 2 of these because we had problems with someone stealing the gas out of our RZRs. The caps work good but the gaskets can’t handle gas so they swell all up and won’t fit in the cap anymore. So they are pretty much useless to us now. I have to see if I can find gaskets for them that will handle gas. Luckily I put our original caps in the glove compartment so I had them with us on our trip.

**10//23/2022 - Revising my review to 1-star. The internal rubber seal is very thin and of poor quality, it eventually degraded and deformed within 5 months. This caused a poor seal and evaporated about half a tank of gas and caused the remainder of the gas to go bad. Requiring cleaning out the fuel tank and replacing the fuel pump/filter (one assembly). The locking cap maybe salvageable if a better quality rubber gasket can be sourced.-------------Good locking gas cap for the Polaris RZR. Tough to find and a bit pricey for what it is. The dust cover over the keyhole does not fit well/ flush with the cap, will probably come loose while bouncing around on a ride. Other than that it works as expected.
