I bought them to use as retention springs on a motorized bike, but when I opened them, one of the springs was overstretched and the remaining good ones were all pretty weak. I returned them for the deformed spring and weak nature. They would be alright for light duty home stuff. But they are far from medium-heavy usage springs from my experience.

I use these springs to maintain tension in a small fence. It would be helpful in the description, if the seller noted the spring tension and extension. For instance: "A 4 pound pull on the spring causes about 3/8 inch stretch/extension."
