Bought after breaking 2 quality US made taper taps trying to cut threads through 3-4mm of 316L stainless. This worked without breaking which is impressive but it looks like the taper tap included in this kit has an additional thread or 2 more of taper which may be why it succeeded in cutting threads without breaking over the pricy bits I had break on me on the same job.

Seems to be of good quality I only used them on a few holes so I cant speek on longevity but they cut good and are 10x better than you can get at lowes/homedepot I've been a machinist for 15years and I'd buy them again

The tap worked as described my tap holder was too large for this tiny tap would of been nice to add that as an add on to the sale !

These taps are worse than junk. The first one I used got 3 turns then snapped, in aluminum, with a drop of oil on it, in a very slightly oversized tap drill hole. The second one managed to tap a complete hole without snapping, but dulled so much that I feared using it for a second hole. The third performed exactly like the first, snapped after 5 turns. They completely made me change the scope of my little project by making me drill out the snapped taps and use the holes as thru holes rather than tapped holes.Partially my fault for using them, but I’ll never get fooled twice, and they get one star because you can’t give zero.

Three flute tap seemed to be better at ejecting cuttings than the previous M4 tap I had tried, and the tap itself seemed sturdier. Threads work as they should.

por el precio que tienen son buenos, pero tenemos que tener en cuenta que los tres tienen el mismo paso y no se puede roscar con un solo paso metal muy duro con un poco e grosor, para eso tenemos juegos de machos de tres pasos.Sabiendo lo que tienes en las manos se comportan genial.Nota: Acordaros siempre de utilizar aceite de corte o en su defecto aceite lubricante.

I ordered this three piece set because I especially wanted the "bottom" tap. I am trying to tap holes in ABS plastic without a lot of success using a standard tapered tap. Looking online, I saw several recommendations to use a bottoming tap instead.What I received was just 3 standard taper taps, no bottoming tap or plug taper tap. The quality looks okay and the price was good so I'll just keep them. But, I was disappointed so I can't recommend for others.
