I have seen and also developed printed parts where a bolt uses a hex nut that ends up spinning in the nut-trap, becoming useless. Using these square nuts removes that problem by making the nut-trap square and providing larger sides to hold the nut from spinning. A good value and the product is very uniform. Keep a bag of these around.
