Maybe Im just not able to figure out what other people can, but I got an envelope with a plastic bag inside. Inside the bag were two magnetic bits, and two bits that do not appear to be magnetic with a couple of wires sticking out. There's no place I can find to connect the wires to the magnetic bits. There's no switches. There's no instructions. I don't know what I am supposed to do with any of it. I tossed it in a junk drawer to be forgotten.

As the title says. It works but it feels incredibly cheap. It feels like it will fall apart while handling it. But so far it is installed in my homes hardwired security system and works when the window is opened or closed.

I have an old Radio Shack (1984) alarm system. It's word 38 year with no real problems since the first month or so from non-magnet sensors. These are perfect replacement for the old magnets and sensors.

I needed a magnetic switch for a vacuum system. I tried this one and it worked a treat.

First off, it works. I’ve had it installed as part of my front door alarm system for about 6 weeks. It’s doing fine. The quality isn’t fantastic. It’s pretty cheap plastic… and i have no idea of knowing what the internal reed switch is like… but it does work. It is small, which is a benefit. Fingers crossed that it lasts a long time.

Arrived about 2 weeks before the estimated delivery date. Worked well for its purpose. Quality is good and doesn’t feel cheap. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong switch accidentally.

Easily connected to my GoControl z-wave contact sensor to turn the sensor into a mailbox sensor. You can’t put the sensor in a metal mailbox, so an external reed switch solves this problem! Other benefit is it’s small and obtrusive inside my mailbox.
